The legalization of recreational cannabis has been both a social experiment and an economic venture for Canada. Professor Jason Childs has been studying policy and market behaviour for the past three years. His presentation will focus on one of the major challenges of legalization pricing and taxation. Dr. Childs' research covers a wide range of topics related to experimental economics, behavioural economics, market structures, and consumer behaviour. He currently focuses on the economics of cannabis legalization and the behavioural differences between different regions of Canada.
