Where is innovation policy in Canada innovative? ....

About the event: CSIP Director and JSGS Professor Peter Phillips will present findings from his recent pan-Canadian research project on provincial and territorial science and innovation policy. His team, with representatives from every province and the territories, found some significant challenges impairing performance and opportunities for accelerating innovation across our continental economy. He will present a brief overview of the findings from his book co-edited with David Castle: Ideas, Institutions, and Interests: The Drivers of Canadian Provincial Science, Technology, and Innovation Policy (UTP, 2022, available at: https://utorontopress.com/9781487524548/ideas-institutions-and-interests/).

About the CSIP Forums: Science, technology and innovation policy is essential in shaping our future.
