President Vianne Timmons continues annual Community Connections Tour

University of Regina President, Dr. Vianne Timmons, along with the Dean of the Faculty of Social Work and Director of the Centre for Continuing Education, have visited Estevan and Weyburn as part of the President's Community Connections Tour.

The tour provided opportunities to listen and learn about the post-secondary educational needs from municipal, business and community leaders, school board educators, and administrators from Southeast Regional College.

In Estevan, President Timmons met with alumni at an event where she was able to provide updates about the new Strategic Plan, peyak aski kikawinaw, and facilitate an opportunity for alumni to re-connect with each and the University.

The Community Connections Tour aligns with the Strategic Plan by affirming our commitment to our communities.

President Timmons will continue her Community Connections Tour and will head to northern Saskatchewan in the spring 2016.
