2016 United Way Campaign at the University of Regina
The University of Regina’s 2016 United Way Campaign has begun and we invite you to be a part of it! Our goal this year is $105,000, one we are confident we can reach with your support.
What is the United Way?
United Way Regina provides funding assistance to more than 20 local agencies that deliver a variety of programs and services to children, youth and families. One important area of focus is reading success, a critical factor that increases the chances of staying in school versus dropping out.
How You Can Participate
There are a number of ways in which you can participate. You can show your support with a simple donation, or you and your colleagues may want to organize an event to raise funds. Examples of some events are bake sales, pay to dress-up or dress-down days, or 'mini golf' tournaments. If you organize an event, please let Shayla Bonhomme know what, when and where, and we'll help you publicize the event. We are also collecting children’s books to place in school libraries or to be used for literacy programs –you can drop a book off with any campaign committee member.
