Parking for Upcoming Events

    Hosting an Event on Campus?

     

    Parking Services strives to provide any visitor to the University of Regina with an exceptional parking experience.

    If you are hosting an event on campus, contact Parking Services in the preliminary planning phase to discuss participant/attendee parking options. Parking availability is very limited during the academic year (September - April) during the day. Event parking on campus is $2/hour/vehicle (public parking rates). If a coupon code is desired, there is a $15 fee for this setup.

    Things to consider before booking an event

    1. Contact Parking Services to determine if parking is available on the proposed event date(s).
    2. Who is paying for the event parking - organizer (coupon code) or attendee/guest (pay stations or PayByPhone)?
    3. Identify any special/accessible parking requirements (any reserved VIP/media, etc. parking required). 
    4. Will there be buses loading and unloading attendees/participants on campus
    5. Complete Event Request Form

    Note:  Parking applications must be received at least ten (10) working days prior to the event date.

     

    Benefits for prearranging event parking

    • awareness of other event parking booked for the day
    • special arrangements can be provided to the media, VIP's, buses, etc.
    • Parking Services can prepare parking maps, signage, parking payment information, and parking ambassadors.

    Accessibility

    The University has a manual wheelchair available on a first-come, first-served basis for use by campus visitors attending events. Please contact the Centre for Student Accessibility at 306-585-4631 or e-mail accessibility@uregina.ca to request use of the wheelchair. Please allow five working days notice before your visit.
