SUMMARY:Employee Orientation - Pilot Session
DESCRIPTION:Human Resources has developed a comprehensive employee orientation program for all employees hired at the University of Regina, and is now beginning the implementation. This orientation program is planned to have both online resources and quarterly sessions that new employees may attend.

A first pilot session of the quarterly employee orientation session is planned for February 8, 2012. Workshop content will include short presentations focusing on key information on a variety of topics including governance, structure, mission and vision, human resources and security. The half-day event will be supplemented with hardcopy information and a walking tour, and will culminate with a "Showcase of University Services," where employees can access information on University services/programs specific to their needs. The feedback coming from this pilot will be used to finalize the design for the ongoing, quarterly orientation workshops.
