DESCRIPTION:Prerequisite - Radiation Safety Online MUST be completed prior to attending the workshop in order to pass the in-class exam. You must also complete Chemical & Laboratory Safety (online & workshop).

**Be prepared by bringing safety glasses, long pants, and closed-toe shoes. You will also need a calculator to complete the final written Radiation Safety exam**

Topics/Activities:
- Wipe testing, scintillation counter use, and required record keeping
- Survey meters and personal dosimeter use
- Radioactive material waste procedures
- Demonstration of radioactive material spill clean-up
