DESCRIPTION:Participants must complete Chemical & Laboratory Safety training, and the appropriate online Biosafety Training prior to attending this workshop!!

Contact health.safety@uregina.ca if you have NOT BEEN enrolled in the online training.

Topics/Activities Include:
- Hazard identification and SOP development
- Biological spill clean-up demonstration
- Review of PSDSs and decontamination
- Autoclave material preparation and packaging demonstration

Complimentary courses available: Depending on the laboratory you will be working in, you may also need to enroll in the Autoclave Training or Animal & Zoonotic Disease Awareness courses.

NOTE: You do NOT need to complete Biosafety 1 Training and Biosafety 2 Training. Please enroll for only one workshop.
