SUMMARY:General Hire Workflow User Testing
DESCRIPTION:HR is nearing the end of development of our new General Hire Workflow.  The workflow will streamline the appointment process for the following types of positions:

•CUPE 2419 Teaching Assistants
•CUPE 2419 Research Assistants
•CUPE 5791 Casual Positions
•CUPE 5791 Student Positions
•All non-union employees
•Honorariums
•Consultants/Contractors (processed through payroll)
•Scholarships/Awards (processed through payroll)

Our plan is to use the workflow for all September 1 or later appointments of the these positions types. The workflow should be available by late June to facilitate the hires. Training sessions will be booked throughout the summer.

If you are currently involved in hiring any one of the position types above, we are requesting your assistance in testing the new General Hire Workflow system.  This will be your last chance to provide input into the new workflow before it goes live in June.
