DESCRIPTION:Participants MUST complete Chemical & Laboratory Safety training (Part 1 & 2), and online Biosafety Training (Part 1) PRIOR to attending this workshop.

Contact health.safety@uregina.ca if you have NOT been enrolled in the online Biosafety training.

NOTE: If fewer than 3 people are enrolled this training session will be rescheduled.

Topics/Activities Include:
- Hazard identification
- Biological spill clean-up demonstration
- Review of PSDSs and decontamination
- Autoclave material preparation and packaging demonstration

Depending on the lab you will be working in, you may also need to enroll in  Autoclave Training or Animal & Zoonotic Disease Awareness courses.
