Director of Sport, Community Engagement & Athlete Development

The University of Regina is seeking an enthusiastic, optimistic, passionate individual to fill the position of Director of Sport, Community Engagement and Athlete Development. Reporting to the Dean of the Faculty of Kinesiology and Health Studies (KHS), and working as a key member of the KHS Leadership Team, our future colleague will be an agent of change who brings strategic and visionary leadership, and creative and innovative ideas to this role. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing and developing Athletics at the University of Regina (includes Varsity, Partnered Varsity, and Club Sport Programs).

The Faculty is seeking an individual who will foster an environment that will allow the University’s purpose for Athletics to be achieved (i.e., fostering student success; pursuing athletic and academic excellence; instilling a culture of fair play, respect, and integrity; building pride among students, faculty, staff and alumni; and strengthening the University’s reputation locally and nationally). The Director will advance the Faculty’s community and student engagement initiatives, and student development priorities through Athletics.
