Library Liaison Program

What is our Library Liaison Program?
What Can It Do For You?

Library Liaison provides two-way communication between you and the library. The program puts you in immediate contact with a Subject Liaison Librarian in your field who is the starting point for assistance with, and information about library services, collections, resources and policies. It can point you in the right direction when you can't find the information or library service that you need right now.

Library Liaison is also about co-operation. You can help us by providing the library with information about the courses you are teaching, your library-related research needs and faculty or departmental programs that might require library support such as new books or journals.

Library Liaison can:

  • Put you in touch with a Subject Librarian
  • Provide you with information on borrowing library materials and placing items on Reserve
  • Provide you with information about the library collection and resources
  • Connect you with library staff who provide library orientations or instruction sessions.
  • Provide you with reference or research assistance
  • Provide you with information about library services, programs and policies

Library Liaison can help you with all this and more.
