Personal Copies Policy

  • Instructors may place a personal copy of an item on reserve that the library does not have in its collection.
  • If requested by the instructor, the library will also order a copy of the item to add to our collection and place on reserve. Once the ordered copy is received, the instructor’s personal copy will be removed from reserve unless the instructor wants it to also remain on reserve.
  • Instructors must sign a “Course Reserves Request Form” agreement which indicates:
    • Personal copies must be picked up from the Library Help Desk when the item is to be removed from reserve. Items will not be sent through interoffice mail to an office or department.
    • The library assumes no responsibility for lost or damaged items.
