Who is Eligible

Off-Campus/Distance Education Students:

  • must both live and take the course outside of Regina
  • have a valid U of R student ID number

Eligible programs include U of R (or affiliated) degree credit courses, including U of R courses taken at regional colleges & Saskatchewan Polytechnic institutes; online courses taken by students living outside of Regina; U of R Faculty of Social Work programs at Prince Albert and Saskatoon; students in the SCBScN program at non-Regina sites; televised (SCN) courses; U of R federated college off-campus courses (e.g. FNUniv); and Aboriginal Teacher Education Programs (e.g. NORTEP).

Additional access regulations differ somewhat for undergraduate and graduate students:

  • undergraduates are eligible for library service if they are registered in a class in a current or upcoming semester.
  • graduate students must be registered (in a course, thesis hours, maintenance of status, etc) in the current semester in order to have access to library services and online databases/journals.

Faculty and Staff:

  • access to library services and resources is available for distance faculty / instructors / lecturers and staff, including university coordinators at regional colleges/Saskatchewan Polytechnic institutes.
