Centre for Student Accessibility

The Centre for Student Accessibility provides services and support to students who have temporary or permanent disabilities, which impact their daily living and/or academic activities & participation, the ability to approach their studies in an equal and effective manner. Current University of Regina students with a disability can register for services at any time, however, early registration is recommended as deadlines may affect the support that can be provided. The Student Success Centre offers a variety of 45-minute zoom workshops to help you develop your learning skills and become a better student. Topics include: Time Management, Note Taking and Effective Reading, Stress Management, Academic Writing, Study Skills, Navigating Math and Sciences Courses, and much more.

Tutoring – Writing, Math & Stats

Tutor Registry

Need help with a specific class? The Student Success Centre has a list of tutors who are University of Regina students that have met a minimum grade requirement of 80% in the particular course they are tutoring for and they have also been recommended by their professor. Please note: registered tutors have a set rate hourly rate that is to be paid directly to the tutor and they are independent of the Student Success Centre. Learning Support

The Student Success Centre offers learning support with an advisor who can help you develop strategies to effectively handle the demands of your semester and improve your grades. In one-on-one zoom meetings you can discuss individualized approaches to test preparation, note taking, textbook reading, exam writing, and time management. Academic Advising

Student Success Centre Academic Advisors are available for daily zoom drop-in sessions as well as zoom appointments. Our advisors can help students facing academic challenges and those who have not chosen a major; give you more in depth information related to on-campus supports and resources to help you succeed in your academic program; provide information to undecided students on the various programs available at the University of Regina; assist with interpretation of general university academic policies; and help students navigate UR Self Service, Degree Audit, and Visual Schedule Builder.  Academic Advising
