What is the purpose of orientation?
This event is designed to kickstart your U of R journey and provide you with essential tools for success. Here are some of the benefits of attending:
- Enhance your campus confidence:Explore key buildings, services, and resources, gaining the skills to navigate campus and find your classes effortlessly.
- Receive valuable insights into university life: Gather insights and information, and get all of your questions answered by knowledgeable faculty members and staff.
Can I bring a family member or friend with me to orientation?
The main orientation is designed for new U of R students only.
Who can attend orientation?
Orientation is designed for all first-year new students who are starting their journey at the U of R.
What should I bring with me to orientation?
You should bring a notepad and pen, and an open mind to make the most of your experience!
Do I need to register for Orientation?
Yes, you have to pre-register for the Orientation. You can find the links to all orientation registration pages on the main page at www.uregina.ca/orientation
I already registered for Orientation, but I need to change my information. How can I do it?
You can email us at orientation@uregina.ca to make any modifications. We will be happy to help you!
Is food provided during Orientation?
Yes, snacks will be provided during orientation.
Is there a fee associated with Orientation?
Yes, a $15 charge will be placed on your account when you register.
Do I have to pay for parking on Orientation day?
There will be free parking available in Lots 1M, 7M and 8M for the duration of Orientation. See areas highlighted in yellow on our parking map.
