Hosting an Event on Campus?

P&TS strives to provide any visitor to the University of Regina with an exceptional parking experience.

If you are hosting an event on campus, contact P&TS in the preliminary planning phase to discuss participant/attendee parking options. Parking availability is very limited during the academic year (September - April) during the day. Event parking on campus is $2/hour/vehicle (public parking rates). Please contact our office if a coupon code is desired.

Things to consider before booking an event

  1. Contact P&TS to determine if parking is available on the proposed event date(s).
  2. Who is paying for the event parking - organizer (coupon code) or attendee/guest (pay stations or PayByPhone)?
  3. Identify any special/accessible parking requirements (any reserved VIP/media, etc. parking required). 
  4. Will there be buses loading and unloading attendees/participants on campus
  5. Complete Event Request Form

Note:  Parking applications must be received at least ten (10) working days prior to the event date. 

Benefits for prearranging event parking

  • awareness of other event parking booked for the day
  • special arrangements can be provided to the media, VIP's, buses, etc.
  • P&TS can prepare parking maps, signage, parking payment information, and parking ambassadors.

Accessibility

The University has a manual wheelchair available on a first-come, first-served basis for use by campus visitors attending events. Please contact the Centre for Student Accessibility at 306-585-4631 or e-mail accessibility@uregina.ca to request use of the wheelchair. Please allow five working days notice before your visit.
