Where to Park

Parking at the University of Regina operates Monday to Friday between the hours of 8:00am to 5:00pm and will be governed by public parking zones or a parking ePermit.

There are several types of parking ePermits available at the University of Regina:

  • M ePermits (no plug-in parking): with a M ePermit you can park in any authorized M area parking lots on the Main Campus and College Ave Campus.
  • Lot 1 Green (no plug-in parking) with a Green ePermit parking is available in a designated area at the south end of Lot 1.
  • Z ePermits (plug-in parking): parking Areas with electrical plug-ins are reserved for Z ePermit holders, Monday to Friday, between the hours of 8:00am to 5:00pm. Z ePermit holders can only park in the designated Z lot indicated on their ePermit.
  • Resident ePermit: residents with parking privileges must park in the designated Resident lot as indicated on their ePermit between the hours of 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.
  • Parkade ePermit: you can only park in the parkade indicated by their ePermit with parking privileges in the Riddell Centre, Kisik Towers, and Centre for Kinesiology, Health & Sport parkades.
  • Carpool ePermits: to park in the designated carpool areas, a carpool designation must be assigned to an existing M ePermit. This designation will allow holders to park in any of the carpool stalls in M area lots located in Lots 1, 6, and 13. If you are interested in arranging a carpool, contact us for more details.

Service Vehicle Areas

Service Vehicle Areas are provided in several locations on University of Regina campuses in order to meet the parking needs of companies providing a service to the University of Regina. Those needing proximal access to a building for the purpose of loading/unloading materials associated with the operational needs of the University, may also park in a Service Vehicle Area on a short-term basis, but must adhere to the posted 90 minute maximum time limit.

Stalls within the Service Vehicle Areas are limited, therefore we do ask that all parkers complete their business and exit the area as quickly as possible to ensure equitable access for everyone. Parkers found to be abusing the Service Vehicle Areas will be ticketed and/or lose their parking privileges within these areas.
