Following a national request for proposals and competition, the firm Boyden was selected to assist with the search for the next President of the University of Regina. Boyden brings strong credentials including past successful university presidential and vice-presidential searches, including our current search for a full-term Vice-President (Research). Dan Brown, Managing Partner, Saskatchewan

Dan Brown is a Managing Partner with Boyden, based in Saskatoon. Prior to joining Boyden, Dan was an executive search consultant with a national search company. He brings 15 years of national and international executive search experience to the firm.

Dan has managed executive level search assignments across a broad spectrum of industries including the industrial sector, financial and professional services, education, technology, public sector, and not-for-profit. Dan has successfully relocated dozens of people into the prairies for his clients.

Dan has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Regina and recently attended Cornell University to attain his Advanced Certificate of Executive Search & Leadership Consulting. He is active in the community as the Vice Chair on the Board of Directors for the United Way, Saskatoon & Area.


Kevin Gregor, Managing Partner, Calgary

Kevin is a Managing Partner with Boyden. Born in Oxbow, Saskatchewan, Kevin brings twenty-five years of business and community leadership experience to the firm. Prior to joining Boyden, Kevin was a Partner of Hamilton Hall Soles/Odgers Berndtson. Kevin previously held leadership positions with Relizon Canada and Xerox Canada.

Kevin's search practice has a focus on senior executives and board of directors' assignments. He brings with him proven governance experience and is ICD.D certified. He has specialized in the recruitment and assessment of leaders in corporations and complex not-for-profit organizations, drawing talent from both the private and public sectors.

His post-secondary search practice has included work with the University of Regina, University of Saskatchewan, University of Calgary, NAIT, SAIT Polytechnic, Bow Valley College, Red Deer College, Grande Prairie Regional College, Great Plains College, Parkland College, Alberta University of the Arts, and Assiniboine Community College. Within the Province of Saskatchewan, Kevin has provided support to recruit senior leaders for diverse organizations like; the Government of Saskatchewan; the Saskatchewan Research Council; the Canadian Lightsource; and Innovation Saskatchewan to name a few.

Kevin is also actively involved in the community and is currently serving as Chair, Alberta Blue Cross Foundation, Governor, Calgary Petroleum Club and Director, Boyden Canada.


Kenny Gregor, Principal, Calgary

Kenny Gregor is a Principal with Boyden Calgary. He brings over seven years of executive search experience to the firm. In 2012, Kenny graduated from the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary with a B.Comm Majoring in Finance. Shortly after graduation he got into the executive search business in a research capacity.

Having been involved in executive search from the research level up, Kenny has a sound understanding of all phases of the search process as he is now tasked with leading full cycle recruitment efforts for a variety of clients. He has led or been heavily involved in executive level search assignments across a variety of industries throughout Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. His academic search practice has been particularity strong as he has worked closely with the University of Regina, University of Saskatchewan, University of Calgary and the University of Alberta among others. Kenny has also been growing his board practice and has worked on many key board assignments for organizations like Trans Mountain Canada, Trican Well Services, Emissions Reduction Alberta, and the Natural Resources Conservation Board.

Kenny strives to be an active member of his community and involves himself with a variety of local organizations. He is an avid supporter of the United Way of Calgary as well as several other charities and has been elected Club Captain at Valley Ridge Golf Club where he assists the Board and Management with the organization of Member events.
