Virtual Zoom Classrooms

Use of Virtual Zoom Classrooms has been discontinues as of January 1, 2021.

Instructors who wish to use Zoom can integrate Zoom into UR Courses, or provide a separate Zoom link to students.

Virtual Zoom Classrooms have been set up as online replacements for classrooms on campus. These virtual spaces will provide classes the option to meet via Zoom, at your usual class time using the same room number as your usual physical classroom. 

NOTE: You do not need a Zoom account to join a Virtual Zoom Classroom meeting. 

• Check whether your instructor intends on utilizing a Virtual Zoom Classroom for your course by logging into the Class Notes Portal and reading the notes for each of your courses. The link to your Zoom Classroom will be available to you in your course in the Class Notes Portal.
• To join a Zoom Classroom, after confirming in the Class Notes Portal that your instructor is using this option, you can click the link there. Please do not access a Virtual Zoom Classroom outside of your usual class time. The schedule for use is the same as for the corresponding physical classroom.

  Connect to the student zoom orientation site at: https://zoom.us/my/uregina.student.orientation.  This site has fellow student moderators to assist you and answer questions from 7:00am to 8:00pm daily.
