Title: Survival Analysis Methods for Combined Cohort Data and Time-to-Event Data Measured With Error (488 kB)
Abstract:
The incident cohort study with follow-up and the prevalent cohort study with follow-up are two commonly used study designs in survival analysis which generate failure time data that are right-censored or left-truncated and right-censored, respectively. There are advantages and drawbacks to each of these studies when viewed separately. In this talk, we discuss two problems:
- When available, how can the data from incident and prevalent cohort studies with follow-up be combined to improve estimation of different survival quantities?
- How can measurement error be incorporated into failure time data observed from the prevalent cohort study with follow-up?
