Theory History

  • G. Papini's efforts concentrated on the interaction of gravitational fields with quantum systems like light nuclei , charged and neutral superfluids and  normal metals, the quantization of weak gravitational fields and its application to astrophysical processes ( 1970-79). Later exact superfluid solutions of Einstein equations were derived (1980-89), studies were conducted on unified theories of the Weyl-Dirac type and their quantum aspects, exact first order solutions of covariant wave equations (Klein-Gordon, Dirac, Maxwell-Proca) were found (1990-99) and applied to particle physics. To this decade also belong the studies on singular electrodynamics, ultrabaric relativistic fluids, microlensing and quantum neural nets.
