Library
Hours of Operation
8:00 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday to Friday; 8:15 a.m. to 4:15 p.m., Saturday and Sunday.
Computers and Solo Study Spaces
Students must book access to the 15 computers in the Commons area. Online bookings are available for a maximum of 4 hours. The 7 solo study areas in the Archway Gallery Room must also be booked in advance.
Walk-ins are not permitted; your computer or study area bookings will be confirmed by student ambassadors when you access the Library. No bookings means no access to the Library.
Collections
Only the main floor of the Library will be open. Access to all other floors is not permitted. E-journals and E-books books are accessible from any computer worldwide using your U of R login information. For physical materials, the Library now offers a pickup option.
User Services
Regular and in-depth information and research services are available remotely. Visit user services to ask a question or book a Zoom appointment.
IT Support Centre
The IT Support Centre desk in the Library will be operational during Library hours (306-585-4685).
Group Work
The Archer Library group study rooms are not open, and group work is not permitted in the Library or anywhere on campus.
Masks
Masks/face coverings must be worn in the Library at all times in both the Commons and Archway Gallery Rooms.

- Materials currently on loan have been renewed until May 5th, 2021. The book drops in the corridor in front of the Library are accessible if there is an urgent need to return materials.
- Fines were waived from Monday, March 23 until August 31, 2020. They were re-initiated beginning September 1, 2020.
- The physical Reserves and Textbooks For All services are not available until further notice.
