Hours of Operation
8:00 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday to Friday; 8:15 a.m. to 4:15 p.m., Saturday and Sunday.
Computers and Solo Study Spaces
There are 40 common area computer stations available for student use. The eight exam rooms remain available for e-proctored exam purposes only. Solo study table bookings can no longer be supported, and future bookings will be suspended or canceled until repairs are complete. Students are reminded that there are 160 solo study spaces spread throughout the University which do not require advance booking.
Students who wish to book a computer station should continue to use the online booking system
Collections
Only the main floor of the Library will be open during the Fall 2020 term. Access to all other floors is not permitted. E-journals and E-books books are accessible from any computer worldwide using your U of R login information. For physical materials, the Library now offers a pickup option.
User Services
Regular and in-depth information and research services are available remotely. Visit user services to ask a question or book a Zoom appointment.
IT Support Centre
The IT Support Centre desk in the Library will be operational during Library hours (306-585-4685).
Group Work
The Archer Library group study rooms are not open, and group work is not permitted in the Library or anywhere on campus.
Masks
Masks/face coverings must be worn in the Library at all times in both the Commons and Archway Gallery Rooms.

- Materials currently on loan have been renewed until Dec. 23rd, 2020. The book drops in the corridor in front of the Library are accessible if there is an urgent need to return materials.
- Fines were waived from Monday, March 23 until August 31, 2020. They will be re-initiated beginning September 1, 2020.
- The physical Reserves and Textbooks For All services are not available until further notice.
