Gary J. Drummond BA'71
For recognition of his career as a business leader, Gary J. Drummond BA'71 received an Honorary Doctor of Laws by the U of R. Drummond accredits his accomplishments to knowledge gained through his university education, which enabled him to build a better career and uplift the community.
Julee Stewart BSc’21
Julee Stewart BSc'21 is an accomplished biology student with significant success as a world class baton twirler. As a master's student, Stewart balances fieldwork with preparation for the 2024 Canadian Team Trials.
Nish Jain BAdmin’17 and Liam Nystuen BAdmin’17
Recognizing a void in the beverage market, Nish Jain BAdmin’17 and Liam Nystuen BAdmin’17 started their own non-alcoholic spirit alternatives company. The pair create complex spirit and cocktail alternatives to meet the growing demand for zero-alcohol beverages.

The Johnson Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy invites you to The Case for Universal Basic Income featuring Dr. Karl Widerquist. He will discuss how Universal Basic Income (UBI) functions, and illustrate how it differs from other redistributional approaches. Dr. Widerquist will summarize the common arguments for and against UBI, and presents his reasons for believing it is a tremendously important reform.

Join the Conservatory of Performing Arts for a musical journey with piano pedagogue and perfomer Cherith Alexander. In To Sing or to Dance? That is the Question: Pedagogical Recital and Masterclass Cherith Alexander will discuss (and demonstrate) how almost all of the music we play on the piano could be classified as a "song or dance".
