After living and working in Quebec, England and South Korea, Myrina moved to Regina in 2001 to work at the University of Regina.

While teaching at the university, she has taken on other tasks in the community, including the development of the Regina Public Library Tutor-Training Program, and has volunteered her time, serving on numerous boards and teaching an EAL course for mothers and their young children.

She enjoys being an ESL instructor because she views it as an opportunity to continue to grow and learn about the world through her students, while helping them achieve their goals.

Myrina's hobbies include yoga and travelling.
