Libcal Online Booking System

The Dr. John Archer Library has twelve rooms available for student group discussion and study during all open hours of the Archer Library. The Library now offers an online booking tool for students to book these rooms from any computer on or off campus. The Libcal online booking system can be accessed at http://uregina.libcal.com.

University of Regina students can book each room for 30 minute intervals up to a maximum of three hours at a time. A booking calendar indicates in green which time periods are available for booking beside each room name. A quick scan of the mouse over the icon beside the room name shows a picture of the room and what seating capacity and equipment is available.

When students book rooms they will receive a confirmation email message about the booking. On the date of their booking they can go to the Borrowing Desk to sign out the key for the room. Staff at the Borrowing Desk will also continue to book these rooms for students. Reservations for group study rooms will be held up to 15 minutes past the reserved start time.

The Libcal online booking system also offers a calendar showing the events scheduled in each lab on the main and 6th floors along with a list of upcoming events in the Dr. John Archer Library.
