Copyright Open Educational Resource for University Instructors and Staff

The University of Regina has implemented CARL's Copyright Open Educational Resource for University Instructors and Staff as a self-enrolled, stand alone course in UR Courses.

There are seven modules, usually between 4 and 6 minutes in length, that provide an introduction to copyright as it applies in a university setting, with focus on copyright in teaching. Each module is available in English and French, and has a short video and an interactive quiz.

This course is available online via UR Courses, can be completed entirely online and is self-paced. Self-registration for the course is required after logging into UR Courses.

These modules are a helpful starting point for understanding copyright. If you have copyright questions, please contact copyright@uregina.ca.
