Library and Archives Access for Fall 2021

Archer Library and Archives will be open for Fall 2021, with increased in-person services and borrowing options.  Effective August 30th, 2021, there will be the following changes to Library building access and services:
  • Floors 3, 4, and 5 of the library will be open!
  • Laptop and iPad lending will resume.
  • The User Services Help Desk will be open regular hours (until 11 every night).
  • Curbside Pickup via Book Lockers will continue.
  • Study spaces and computers are on a first-come-first-serve basis.  There will be occupancy limits to ensure social distancing.
  • Group study rooms will not be available. 8 Study rooms are reserved for E-Proctored exams using the ProctorTrack software.  Bookings must be made on-line and can be for up to 4 hours.
  • Community access computer use and borrowing will resume.
  • Hathi Trust Emergency Access will no longer be available.
  • Items from Reserves and Textbooks For All are available for loan, request and recall through Quickfind.  For questions about reserves and reading lists, please visit our reading list guide or email library.reserves@uregina.ca.
  • Masks will be required in the library building.
