Biosafety Level 1 & 2 Workshop
Participants MUST COMPLETE Chemical & Laboratory Safety training, and online Biosafety Training PRIOR to attending this workshop!!
Contact health.safety@uregina.ca if you have NOT BEEN enrolled in the online training.
Topics/Activities Include:
- Hazard identification and SOP development
- Biological spill clean-up demonstration
- Review of PSDSs and decontamination
- Autoclave material preparation and packaging demonstration
Complimentary courses available: Depending on the laboratory you will be working in, you may also need to enroll in Autoclave Training or Animal & Zoonotic Disease Awareness courses.
