APT Annual Performance Review Process for Supervisors

Supervisors of APT staff should be preparing for the annual performance review process which includes completing the appraisal form, preparing for the meeting with the employee to discuss the review and developing expectations/goals for the next review year (2015/2016). The performance review process is an opportunity to improve and enhance communication with your APT employees, recognize good performance and identify improvement and development needs. Completed performance reviews are to be returned to Human Resources by June 12, 2015.

The University is committed to helping supervisors to continue to develop their skills in conducting effective performance reviews. To accomplish this Human Resources will be offering half day refresher training sessions May 4th and 5th, 2015.

Sessions will provide the theory of an appropriate performance review but are also designed to be interactive in order to give you the opportunity to practice with the facilitators and your colleagues what you have learned. Please bring common, realistic appraisal issues to practice during the workshop.
