Engineering Internship

The Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science, along with The Career Centre are pleased to offer the Engineering Co-operative Internship program. Students from Petroleum Systems, Environmental Systems, Industrial Systems, Electronic Systems, and Software Systems Engineering are eligible for placements for either 12 (September start) or 16 (May start) months.

Hiring an Engineering Intern for September 2024

We are pleased to invite employers to participate in the Summer 2024 recruitment cycle for the Engineering Co-operative Internship at the University of Regina. Students from the above five majors have been accepted to participate. Engineering interns complete one 12- month placement starting in September 2024. The hiring process begins in April and is ongoing until August 2024.

The internship timelines for interviewing run parallell to those of the traditional Co-op program to make participation as easy as possible. To make it even easier, hiring is done a direct offer basis - there is no ranking process for interns, so be sure to participate as early as possible in the semester to have access to all interns.
