The Regina Cyclone and Extreme Weather
On June 30, 1912, a devastating tornado ripped through Regina, killing 28 people, injuring hundreds, and causing millions of dollars in damages. To date, it is the deadliest tornado in Canadian history. To commemorate the 100th anniversary of this event, the library has put together a display about the Regina Cyclone and other extremes in weather that impact society.
