Dr. Mark Brigham, Head of the University of Regina's Department of Biology, will lead a lively and timely discussion about bats on Halloween.  He will also talk about conservation issues facing bats and briefly discuss nightjars or goatsuckers.  They are birds that are also a nocturnal group of insect eaters.  Refreshments will follow.  Free parking is available in Lot 3 M.

Be sure to check out the library's new display on bats and bats in popular culture.
