The Gormley Papers: I'm Right & You Know It

The University of Regina Library is hosting a free public lecture by political commentator and radio personality John Gormley. Gormley talks about his new book about changes in Canadian and Saskatchewan politics and culture during the past decade. Gormley discusses the events that take us from the changed world of 9-11 to the culture of protest, juggling modern life between family and technology, aging not so gracefully and the landscapes – personal and political – that fall in between. With a blend of humour and gravity, Gormley examines the first decade of our new century and contemplates where we are headed. Details about the book are at http://indieinkpublishing.com/gormley-papers.

A lawyer and Queen’s Counsel, John is a former Saskatchewan Member of Parliament and a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan College of Law.
