Visiting Faculty - Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM)

     

Eight faculty members from the Tec de Monterrey Institute in Mexico will be at the University of Regina for a month-long program to improve their skills in teaching and learning.

The Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM) is one of the largest private, non-profit, independent educational institutions with no political or religious affiliation, founded in 1943. ITESM is a 31 multi-campus university network throughout Mexico with over 90,000 students at the high school, undergraduate and graduate levels. ITESM is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) of the United States, Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) of the United States, the Association of MBAs of the United Kingdom, the European Quality Improvement System (EQUIS), and the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology, Inc.

ITESM has been a key partner of the U of R since 1998.

The faculty members will be touring the University of Regina while they are here, and will be receiving an orientation of the Library and Centre for Teaching and Learning on Wednesday, June 4th from 10:00-11:30AM.
