The Great War: Regina College and the First World War

Archives & Special Collections is pleased to announce the launch of its newest digital collection, The Great War: Regina College and the First World War. The First World War, or "Great War" as it has often been referred to, was one of the seminal events of the 20th century. The world we live in today was greatly shaped by the outcomes of that war. Many political boarders, our politics, ideologies and ways of thinking, technology, and even art were influenced by this massive four-year struggle.

Drawing on materials held at the University of Regina Archives and Special Collections this website documents the local contribution and sacrifice to the "Great War". Key materials from a range of official and personal records have been digitized including letters, diary entries, newspaper articles, books, photographs, and official records of Regina College.

The digital collection can be found at: http://ourspace.uregina.ca/thegreatwar
