Treasuring Robinson Crusoe: 300 Years of Adventure Symposium

The University of Regina Dr. John Archer Library, in partnership with Luther College, is celebrating the 300th anniversary of the publication of the novel Robinson Crusoe. Written by Daniel Defoe, the book is one of the most widely read and translated works in the English language. The symposium will consist of short presentations by University of Regina faculty (Noel Chevalier, Volker Greifenhagen, Sylvain Rheault, Gerry Sherbert, Troni Grande, Rick Kleer, and Jan Purnis) about various themes in the book. Everyone is welcome and refreshments will be served. Selected rare editions of the book will be on display in the library during November.
