Aboriginal Storytelling Session

February 2020 has been proclaimed, by the Government of Saskatchewan, Saskatchewan Aboriginal Storytelling Month! The winter timing for Aboriginal Storytelling observes the First Nations traditional time for storytelling. The intent is to increase province-wide cultural activity levels of Aboriginal peoples; have Elders and Aboriginal storytellers demonstrate the cultural and historical value of storytelling; and foster storytelling partnerships through joint planning with outside agencies and resources. Join Melissa Worme, a gifted performance artist from the Kawacatoose First Nation in Saskatchewan. She has achieved accreditations in theatre from the newly designated Gordon Tootoosis Nikaniwin Theatre Company and the Nightwind Theatre.
