2022 Saskatchewan Aboriginal Storytelling Session

February 2022 is Saskatchewan Aboriginal Storytelling Month and it is being coordinated by the Library Services for Saskatchewan Aboriginal Peoples Committee (LSSAP). The winter timing for Aboriginal Storytelling observes First Nations traditional time for storytelling. The purpose of LSSAP's program is to increase province-wide cultural activity levels of Indigenous Peoples; have Elders and Aboriginal storytellers demonstrate the cultural and historical value of storytelling; and foster storytelling partnerships through joint planning with outside agencies and resources. Join Lynn Cote, an anihšināpēhkwē from Cote First Nation and an Assistant Professor at First Nations University of Canada and for a live stream session that will be hosted by the Dr. John Archer Library on February 9, 2022.
