Corinne Barnett
Government Relations Advisor

Responsible for cultivating relationships with all levels of government in an effort to advance the strategic priorities of the university as well as identify opportunities for collaboration. The work of the Government Relations Advisor is essential to the university’s academic mission, through promoting the relevance of its teaching and research and the positive impact it has on the province’s economic and social well-being.      

Corinne is the first point of contact for elected and non-elected government officials wishing to engage with the University of Regina.

Yulia Yevlanova
Internal Auditor

Ultimately responsible for the performance of the internal audit activity at the University. Among other things, this includes providing independent and objective assurance and consulting services, acting as a central point of contact for receiving disclosures of an alleged wrongdoing submitted in accordance with the policy Safe Disclosure (Whistleblower Protection), and being responsible for coordinating investigations of allegations of wrongdoing.

David Meldrum
Compliance and Contracts Advisor

Manage contracts related to the administrative affairs of the University and establish processes for contract review, contract management, and monitoring. Provide subject matter expertise to University leadership, faculty, and staff on legislative compliance. Lead and manage privacy breach investigations, and develop, implement and monitor risk mitigation plans in response to recommendations arising from internal breach investigations and/or the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner. Respond to access to information requests.

Coordinate privacy reporting including Privacy Breach protocol & responses, Access to Information (LAFOIP) requests, Privacy Impact Assessments, and Privacy training. Oversee and manage convocation ceremonies & protocols, honorary degree recipients, and President/Chancellor installations.
