Dear members of the campus community,
The Search Advisory Committee is pleased to announce the names of the two candidates shortlisted for the position of Associate Vice-President (International).
Arrangements are now being made to have these candidates participate in a formal interview, public presentation, stakeholder meetings, and social gatherings with faculty, staff and students on campus. Following these visits, the Search Advisory Committee will seek input on these candidates from our internal and external community members and stakeholders.
The dates and candidates for these campus visits are as follows:

The Search Advisory Committee for the Associate Vice-President (International) search has completed the position description/appointment details and the advertisement has been posted live on our University of Regina Careers Website. This position is being posted and circulated nationally and internationally through various recruitment venues.
If you have the names and contact information of possible candidates, please send this information to Angela Leader (ea.provost@uregina.ca) and we will reach out to those individuals directly.
The posting closes on October 7, 2022 and the Search Advisory Committee will begin reviewing applications soon thereafter.

I will fulfill the role of Chair, and the Committee will also be supported in its work by Angela Leader in the Provost's office and Nancy Kazeil of Human Resources.
Search Timeline (subject to change):
- August 31: SAC in place;
- September 15: First meeting of the SAC held;
- By September 26: Advertising underway;
- By October 17: SAC establishes a short list of candidates;
- Weeks of October 24 & 31: Candidate interviews;
- By November 30: SAC makes recommendation to the Provost; Provost makes recommendation to the President; negotiations with the preferred candidate commence;
- By December 9: Announcement of the new Associate Vice-President (International).
