Dr. Childs completed his undergraduate education at Mount Allison University and his graduate studies at McMaster University. He joined the Department of Economics in 2008 after a Post Doctorate Fellowship at Mount Allison University and a tenure track appoint at the University of New Brunswick. Dr. Childs research covers a wide range of topics related to experimental economics, behavioural economics, market structures, and consumer behaviour.  He currently focuses on the economics of cannabis legalization and the behavioural differences between different regions of Canada.
