Location: CL 232

The Gluex experiment in Hall D, Jefferson Lab aims to map the meson spectrum, with a focus on exotic mesons and hybrids which are not allowed in a simple quark-antiquark model. In this talk, we will present our results on the photoproduction of the b1 meson as a gateway to a few exotic mesons. Especially, as a prominent decay mode for the π1(1600), one of the lightest exotics mesons.
