Title: A continuity theorem for Stinespring’s dilation

Abstract:

We will begin a discussion of the Kretschmann-Schlingemann-Werner continuity theorem for Stinespring’s dilation and the related applications within quantum information theorem. Two completely positive maps between C*-algebras are close in cb-norm if and only if we can find corresponding dilations that are close in operator norm. The proof will further establish an equivalence of the cb-norm distance and the Bures distance for completely positive maps.
