Rare Isotopes

Dr. Gwen Grinyer is an Associate Professor in our department.  She is an experimental physicist whose research focuses on rare isotopes, which are highly unstable isotopes that are not found naturally on earth.  These isotopes can only be produced and studied in the laboratory and have a wide range of applications in nuclear medicine, nuclear structure and astrophysics and energy.  For more information, please visit Dr. Grinyer's Research page.
