Mathematics and Statistics Fall 2019 Scholarship

Number available: Variable
Amount: Up to $5,000

Eligibility: Must be enrolled as a full-time thesis based Masters or Ph.D. student in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics during the Fall 2019 term. Can not be working off campus for more than 12 hours per week. Cannot hold other bursaries/grants/scholarships worth a total of more than $17,500 during the academic year they receive the grant/scholarship. How to Apply: Students fill out the "Scholarship Application Form" and supervisors fill out the "Letter of Support Form for Reference" (below). Both forms should be emailed to mathstat@uregina.ca to arrive before the deadline. Please include the word "Scholarship" and the applicants name in the email subject line.

FGSR - Graduate Teaching Assistantship (GTA)

Description: Graduate Teaching Assistants assist with the instructional program of undergraduate courses or laboratories. The Graduate TA is funded through the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research (FGSR).

Value: Salary in accordance with CUPE 2419 collective agreement - 120 hours per term (only approximately 60 hours of work will actually be required during the Fall 2019 or Winter 2020 terms)
