Volunteer and Community Programs

At the University of Regina, we believe that community outreach is an important part of the Lifelong Learning Centre.

Grandmothers on the Network

"It would be something that we'd be able to have fun and feel comfortable with each other and do the things. And for me, that would be the biggest thing that would help me."
"Talking in grandmothers' circle, I like that, I enjoy that. I enjoy the fellowship, it is really sweet. It's nice, wholesome and really down to earth and it touches your heart."
"I look forward to the meetings, because they are my support and I enjoy sharing with others."
"I like the sharing the best about the talking circles...when other people tell and their stories I remember that happened to me and realize that I am not the only one in the whole entire world. And it confirms your feelings and experiences."
