Together, We Put Things Right
Truth. Reconciliation. Accountability.
Reconciliation is an ongoing responsibility embedded across learning, research, governance, and campus life.
Working in partnership with Indigenous peoples and the First Nations University of Canada, we are advancing Indigenous leadership, strengthening pathways for Indigenous learners, and embedding Indigenous knowledge systems across the University.
By 2035, the University of Regina will be recognized for advancing Truth and Reconciliation as a sustained, institution-wide commitment embedded across learning, research, governance, and campus life.
Our commitment includes:
- Supporting Indigenous-led learning and research;
- Strengthening Indigenous student access, retention, and success;
- Aligning governance and policy with reconciliation commitments; and
- Making Indigenous presence, language, ceremony, and leadership visible across campus.
Reconciliation is not a standalone initiative. It is a sustained, institution-wide commitment grounded in respect, partnership, and shared responsibility.
