U-Prairie Challenge Presented by SaskMilk

Friends. Rivals. Two Universities. One Title.

The U-Prairie Challenge presented by SaskMilk is a celebration of varsity sport in Saskatchewan!

This annual points-based competition between the University of Regina and the University of Saskatchewan involves 11 different men’s and women’s events, including soccer, football, hockey, volleyball, basketball, track and field, and cross country.

U-Prairie Challenge Final Weekend

The U Prairie Challenge trophy is on display at Mosaic Stadium. A hockey game as viewed from behind the goalie at one end of the rink.

The season-long competition will culminate with men’s and women’s hockey games being played in both Regina and Saskatoon on the weekend of February 3 – 5.

Trophy Presentation

The U-Prairie Challenge Trophy will be presented following women’s hockey game in Saskatoon on the afternoon of Sunday, February 5. Please join us there at 2 p.m. as we cheer on our Cougars and enjoy a fun afternoon together, featuring in-game entertainment, a post-game skate open to all, and family-friendly off-ice activities, including an inflatable jumping area for kids.

Members of the U of R community will be gathered behind section U before the game and during intermission to mix and mingle.

Join the friendly rivalry online! Share your experience – photos, thoughts, reactions – on social. Tag us with #uPrairieChallenge and join in the fun!
